About The Net

The partnership which delivers The Net, consists of:

  • Stay as the lead agency, a local provider of housing and support services.
  • Citizens Advice, delivers general advice, helping people facing multiple disadvantages to turn their lives around.
  • Telford MIND which offers mental health support

  • Support individuals to become more active and involved in their communities: reducing isolation and increasing self-esteem and confidence
  • Access support that they need to help improve their quality of life

We are looking to recruit the following role:

 

Intensive Support Worker, 37 hours per week, £10.55 per hour (negotiable)

Employed by Stay.  This is an opportunity to be part of a team working on a new project – The Net, providing support to people to help direct and support them through support services. You will carry out a variety of duties including administrational support, gathering people’s experiences of the service, assist in recording outcomes being achieved, writing case studies, providing direct 1-2-1 client support. This may include taking people to services if their confidence is low, helping people to complete non-means tested benefit forms etc.
