Over 4 nights at the end of August, Stay challenged people to take a 5k walk at sunset and pause to think about vulnerable people wondering where they will sleep tonight. It was a chance to imagine not having a safe home to lay our heads and how that might feel – our aim being to raise awareness of seen and unseen homelessness locally. We asked people to snap a photo on their sunset walk, home or away and share it.
We had some lovely messages and photos, including this one from a local dog walking group, Telford Poodles & Doodles, who walked up to Lilleshall Monument. This wonderful posse of people and pooches held a hot dog BBQ afterwards (very apt!) and also generously raised £120 for Stay.
